Default Wheel question

I'm buying some HRE wheels and I'm looking on some feedback of proper offset and width to get. I'm upgrading to baer 6 piston calipers at the same time and I need 18" wheels for them to fit into. My plan is to get 9.5" width front and 10.5 rears. Any suggestion on offset? I'd like the fronts to sit about where they do stock as far as distance out in the wheelwell, and I think the rears should sit about half an inch farther out. Also, if I'm putting this much money into wheels, should I just go to a wider rim in case I might someday get serious into autocrossing or is it not worth the hassle of making wider wheels fit? Any thoughts?

I would say 36mm front and 50 on the rear.

38mm front, and 44mm rear, IMHO.
