Default Will regular Firebird rims fit my TA without any issues?

As far as I know, regular Firebird rims are 16x7 if I'm not mistaken, and TA rims are 16x8 and come with a wider stock tire. I have a set of winter rims/tires I want to use for my TA (regular Firebird rims and 215/60 Blizzaks). I want to put them on soon and was just checking here before I go in--hopefully I won't need to buy a spacer to clear the brakes or anything like that. Will I be good to go?

Firebird wheels are 16x8. 215s will not fit.
But yes firebird wheels will fit your TA as long as its a 4th gen firebird.

These tires are already mounted just fine and the previous owner used them last winter on his 99 Firebird; now they will be on my 99 TA.

I thought the V6 Firebird rims were 16x7, so I guess I was mistaken if they are 16x8 like TA rims. If 215s are not supposed to fit, what kind of problems might I have? Because like I said these are already mounted and were used for one season before.

the rims will fit fine.
the tires wont.the tires are not wide enough for proper fit and cause for a blow out.
you need atleast a 224-245 width.
safety should be a prime cocern.

When I go to tirerack.com and put in 1999 Firebird (not TA) it says this:

Original Equipment 215/60-16

So that is the stock size for regular Firebirds. This leads me to believe that I was correct in thinking that regular Firebird rims are not 16x8 like TA rims are--since that small of a tire would not be suitable for that wide of a rim. However, since tirerack.com is telling me right there that the original stock tire for a V6 Firebird is the same size as these winter tires, I'm not going to be concerned Perhaps you guys are mistaken in thinking stock Firebird rims are the same width as the TA rims? I'm just trying to figure out what the difference is here.

Thanks for the input so far. Anyone who knows for sure the stock width of a regular Firebird rim, please let me know. If nothing else I'll measure one of them myself when I get home later.

It had to be pretty rare to get a car with those skinny wheels on it as I have never seen one. I don't see any reason those wheels wouldn't work though.
