Default How much BFH for 275/40-zr-18's? (front)

I've got Knoi's on the lower tab, and I'm wondering if I can go with a 275/40-zr-18 tire and be okay in the front? How bad do you think it'll rub?

I've heard many wonderful reports of the BFH mod in the rear, but am wondering if it works on the front of the car too?

Any thoughts? I want to pick up a little bit of my lost clearance, but NOT at the cost of rubbing like crazy.

Is the BFH mod really as simple as it sounds? Just whack the crap out of it with a hammer until everything fits?

Thanks all.

PS: Seach keeps timing out. Don't know if it's me, or if the site is buggy tonight. I did manually go through the last 10 pages though!!

You can not BFH in the front. My 275/40-17 will rub the plastic fender liner when fully turned, but it's not really a big deal.

The correct size for you would be a 275/35-18, by the way.

Using BFH up front will have some really bad effects . . . . BFH is a rear wheel well only modification!
