Default can you add a lip

just wondering if there is anyway of adding a lip to the original ws6 rims wonder how it would look

I'm sure the original one could be cut off, and a custom one could be machined and welded to it, then buffed out. But, that would be an expensive effort, and you would only end up with about a 1" lip since the offset of the wheel only allows it to go outwards just so far.

One Of The Wheel Manufacturers Need To Step Up And Make Ws6 Reproductions In Different Sizes So Everyone Quits Putting Chevy Wheels On Pontiacs!!!!! Are You Guys Listening?

I inquired about it with a couple of companies, nobody that I found will widen on the front side of the rim.

There was a member a couple years ago that had his wheels widened and they actually added a lip to the wheel. I think they put the center of the wheel in a new hoop. The guy said it was a lot of work and he posted some pictures of the finished wheel. Looked great but I can't remember who it was and at the time I didn't save the pics.

I remember seeing a speedline WS6 wheel, thicker spokes, with a wider lip. When I called a wheel shop they said the lip had to be a certain size for them to add more to it.
