spacers on front draglites???

spacers on front draglites??? Do you guys use spacers on your front skinnies? I bought the ARP 3" studs for the fronts and I didnt want to grind the crap out of my brakes that do most of the work.( I had too much fun on the rears 
) I bought 5/16 spacers and the skinnies stick out of the wheel well a bit much for me. Besides going with a wilwood set up (which I cant afford right now) do any of you have any other suggestions?
