Default tires??

i just picked up a set of ss 10 spoke chrome 17x9 rims and i'm trying to decide on tires.

obviously the tires will be 275-40-17s.

i'm looking for something that will be good for a daily driver, and has both good traction and wet weather performance.

i will be autoxing the car, but i will be using the stock 16x8 rims for that in order to stay in the stock class.

opinions???

thanks
tony

I hope you mean 275, not 245. lol. Anyhow, BFG kdw is what you described. http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...r=40&tc=NITHZ4

Firestone wide oval I did several hours of reasearch and found these and the KUMHO mx are good values for the money and good perfomance. I have had good luck with both in the rain. little bit better wtih the wide ovals Ithink.

I just bought a set of wide ovals in january.. Overall they are pretty good. Although I'm waiting on the roads to warm up a little more to really test the dry traction. So far so good though.

dont get bfg sports, i have them on my front and they arent anything worth spending money on. I have KDW on the rear and they are amazing. definatly go with the KDW.

you can fit 285's on there too... thats a thought
