hmm never heard of that size before.. i suppose you are referring to the tire lol.

The simple answer to your question is no. There are several sizes.. hope she got you the right one. You are going to have to grind down your calipers with an angle grinder, but the amount of grinding depends on which width/backspacing you have.

yea - that's the size of the tire. if you have 15"x10" wheels w/ a 7.5" backspacing, it will fit onto a standard width rear end WITH a 5/8" wheel spacer and a little grinding on the caliper.

it's not bad at all. get the grinder from home depot for $30, and you can get the wheel spacers from autozone, murrays, advanced auto - they're cheap too.

You will need longer studs if you choose the above method, and you should probly invest in some longer studs no matter what.

ARP makes a ~3inch stud for our cars.

no. Grind the calipers with new brake pads. You'll thank me later. Dont run spacers. They will fit without if you grind correctly.

Not a prostar, but the jegstar wheel in a 15x4 with 1.75" bs is a prostar look alike, uses stock style lugs (acorn) and stock stud length. Only available for the front though. Downfall is that it weighs 5-7 lbs more per wheel than the true prostar. There were a couple threads recently on this rim.

5-7 lbs rotating mass per side equals out to a lot and is not worth it in my opinion.

Eh I'd doubt you'd see a difference in ET. Less than .1 at most. For my street car, we'll see how they do. Besides, that weight might help them to be more durable on the street.

Stock 2000 camaro wheel = 19lbs
jeg wheel = 15-17lbs

is that worth it?

You can buy 4 snowflake wheels+tires for 150. I know i am comparing apples and oranges here, but I am just trying to give you a different perspective on weight savings. I base everything i do to my car on weight first, then power.

Call me biased because i own both prostars and 2 sets of snowflakes, but i think if someone is wanting drag wheels they should fork out the extra money and go with something made to be lightweight. Rotating mass is big weight. I agree with you on the .1 bit, but .1 in a few places hits you where it hurts. However, they are not designed for street use, just as the prostar is not designed for street use. If i would have done it all over again, i would have gone with bogarts.
