Default Bogart lug nut issues?

I just mounted my other pair of Bolted RT's on my car (in back), and I had a helluva time getting the lugs all the way in... Anyone have any thoughts? I did spray the inside of the wheel holes with WD40 to help them along. The resistance was way more than the resistance you get from a brand new wheel.

If you are using aftermarket lug nuts the shanks are more than likely to long. They will bottom out on the rotor before they tighten down on the wheel itself.
Call Steve and get the right lug nuts.

But I don't have that problem with my older set of Bolted RT's. I understand what you're saying though.

John, Depending on how they were made, they may not be the same. Remember, we do not build them the same for all situation...they are built for the application. I build LS1 cars differently then LT1 setups...even though they are 4th gen cars.

Check your lugs, they sound like they were too long and the end of the shank mushroomed out and is now creating an interference fit between the shank and stud bore. Be careful, don't damage the internal bore.
