Widest tire for the front?

Widest tire for the front? Does any one know what is the widest tire I can put on my 02 SS convertible? Getting ready to lower it and I like the wide tire look on the front. I have 315x35x17 on rear with the 11in rim. Have the stock 9 inch 5 spoke rim on front. Thanks

no wider than a 275 on the stock wheel. Otherwise if you get a wheel w/ the correct offset you can go as wide as a 10-10.5" wheel up front and a 295 tire unless you are willing to deal w/ some rubbing issues, then 315's are possible
