Default 17x11 question

this guy has a 96 vette with 17x11 on the back.they stick out like 1.5-2".im wondering if those rims would stick out on my 97 fbody too.
can anyone figure this out?me and the other guy live 2 hours apart so i cant just try them.

50 mm offse will fit. 36 mm offset will not.

Yes, what Xsta said. It was a Grandsport off set and a ZR-1 offset.

he just bought the car and we dont know the offset.i do know that on his 96 vette they stick out about 2"

My guess then will be that they are 36 mm offset.
