Any big and little is not meant for street driving. Yes alot of people do it and I was one of those until one of my Welds developed a hairline crack along the lip. I've had it repaired and no longer drive with them on the street.

I am guessing DopeFed that you had a problem with a 3.5 front. These are not the best choice for a lot of reasons for any car that see's street use. If you can put a 15x5 on the front, you will like the way it handles, it is really hard to tell the difference in looks between the 3.5 and a 5", much better selection of tires AND can just about guarantee that the Weld Pro-Star will hold up with no problems.

It was the rear 10" rim. The fronts are fine.

Common sense tells me that if the rims are for drag racing, they should be used for drag racing, and only that. Driving a car on the street puts loads on your suspension that you simply won't see driving a 1/4 mile at a time down pavement that doesn't have potholes and such...

I've seen lots of people drive on the street with drag racing rims. I've also heard lots of stories of those rims breaking over time...I don't care if you kill yourself because your drag wheels broke going down the street, but if you take out my car in the process...well, that's just dick.
