17x11 fitting question
I am installing some older 17x11 forgeline RS Competiton wheels. So far i have stock suspension. I test fitted the wheels and just like the pictures show i have like 1/4" to the bumpstomp, is that ok? Are most 17x11 this close? or should I just grind it down? I measured the back spacing and it is 8", which the offset would be around 50.8mm.
Any other suggestions to make sure they fit ok once I put tires on them.

Unless you plan on doing Duke's of Hazzard jumps, the rear axle in normal driving will never come down that low.
@ 50.8mm offset you are fine. Once the tires go on some inner wheel well massaging will be needed.
Oh and when you are mounting your wheels and tires it is HIGHLY recommended to support ythe axle with a jack, then the wheel/tire will never come into contact with the bumpstop.
Some people do descide to modify the bumpstop, but I find it highly unnecessary.
