Default 165R15s how safe

Ive been told by many people not to run the tire for the skinnys up front but i see alot of people doing it. I wont be having a sway bar on the front and am affraid that the weight transfer to the front when braking after the quarter could cause them to pop. I would like to get some of yalls imput thanks

Matt, I've drag raced for 25 years now and I have NEVER seen them tires "pop" on the big end of a track just by braking hard. I've run that size tire on many different cars witout a single problem. Other than the fact that you can forget turning a corner very fast they will be fine to race on.
