Default size comparison between hoosiers and m/t's

im looking at either buying a set of hoosier quick time pros or m/t et streets. My question is does anyone know from PERSONAL experiance(not just looking at the size listed) if a 28x11.5 hoosier measures the same as a 28x12.5 m/t. The site says both have a 10 inch tread width but the hoosier has a 11.2" section width and the m/t has a 12.6. Noth would be going on an 8 inch wheel. I have another guy on another forum telling me they both measured the same on a 10 inch wheel So I need some further proof before I buy.
