salt! i left my zo6 rims on this winter... and there is a buildup of salt on them ( there chrome not polished) and i was wondering what would get that off... just polish or something else?

Last winter pre beater I used a polishing ball and some rubbing compound on my stock wheels but they were polished aluminum... Worked pretty well on then and it also made them shine better!!
