Removing Powdercoat.
I just bought some powdercoated wheels. I want to remove the coating around the "lip", so they will stand out a little more. I've heard gasket remover works. Any one have any experience?

some people i have heard have taken sandpaper or a razor of some sort, then put the wheel on the rear and jacked the car up. Then put the wheel in motion very slowly and kinda machined it off that way, Sounds crazy and i think it is but ive heard of people doin that.

i think it would be very hard to do without chipping the powdercoating and making the edge where the powdercoating stops and the bare metal underneith start look nice and clean
