Question Rear deep lip on first gen F-body (???)

I've been searching a lot but with no succes. So feel free to answer my question with links (PM me if need) or hit me with key words to help me find what I'm looking for.
What I need is the specific: parts, measurements, brands, work to do, or whatever I need to get 18"x12" with a nice deep lip in the back of my 68 F-body (Firebird for what you can see in my sig)
Where I live there are no experts or people that has done this before, but there are very good experienced welders and body shops that can do anything.
Basicly what I guess I need to know is the housing length I need, how high and wide I must mofidy the wheel wels, do I need to modify the rear chassis to get 12" wide wheels?
I know there are plany of people that has done this before, but how? Or who should I call? Or what magic measurement tool should I buy that will let me know all this info.

Thanks guys.

a 12 won't fit a stock 68 wheel tub. a 10 is the widest, I believe 5.5 backspace is what I used, I don't remember now it's been a few years

Should I move to suspension or chassis forum to know this?
Or ask separate questions for each part on diferent forums?
I guss it's too much info for one to know.

www.lateral-g.net or www.pro-touring.com I'm sure you can find more than enough information to get your questions answered. Those sites are dominated by first gens. Quite a few people from there are on here also, but a thread like this will get more attention over there.

Also,
You will definitely need mini-tubs to make the 12 in rear wheel fit in the back of the first gens. Look around on the above mentioned sites and you'll find links to sources for the parts.
