Default 315 Nittos on a 9" WS6 wheel???

My current rear tires are 275 BFG drag radials and they are spanked .. I was considering nittos as they seem to last longer on the street and i have slicks for the track.... I have heard of 03-04 Cobra owners using 315 Nittos on their stock 17 X9 inch rims... has anyone tried this whith their stock wheels? I know nittos run narrow so it seems like it would work?

Yeah, but asking the same question that has already been answered 100's of times, and one that you already know what the answer will be...I don't think that's what this forum is for.

Don't do it. Get something like a Hoosier or MT drag radial that is designed for your 17x9 rim and call it a day.
