Default 15x5 prostars in front?

I've heard both that they will fit and that they won't fit ... whats the real answer? This is a dd so I don't want to go with a 3.5 unless I truely have to. What b/s would be needed for the 15x5s? I do NOT want to use spacers. This is on a 2000 Z28. Thanks.

I personally could not get a 5" wheel to fit. I tried it with a .25 spacer, and it still didn't work. I don't believe Weld offered a wheel with the correct Backspacing either. For one, the backspacing was okay. The only thing that it hit on was the inner curve of the the wheel/caliper...I ground one of the calipers until I needed a new one...Still nothing.

You wont get a 15x5 to fit. If your going to run a prostar in the front, its going to be a 15x3.5 and you WILL be using a spacer, unless you want to grind ALOT off your caliparm and you will also need ARP studs with 12mmx1.50 shank style lugs.

What size spacer is required? Do the wheels actually look "right" or do they stick out too far on the sides in the front?

x2

This is my old black WS-6 15x3.5 1.75bs, longer ARP wheel studs, 3/16'' spacer and no grinding. Hope this helps.
