Will my wheel and tire combo work? (drag setup)
First off I just want to state that I have been searching on this topic in the stickies and in the search function and have came up with nothing.
I got a set of slicks on trade from a buddy of mine that are brand new. The size is 29x12x15. They are hoosiers. And then for wheels they actually just showed up today and they are a set of bogart d10's 15x10 (7.5"bs) in the rear and 15x4 I believe in the front. Anyways, I don't want to go get those slicks installed on these wheels if there is no way they are going to fit. I got the slicks on such a good deal I couldn't pass them up so it's a win win situation. I can sell them to get more then my money back, or if I can roll the fender lip and maybe do a little cutting on the inner fender well area I think I'd be fine with that. I plan to eventually do a mini tub on the car but I'd rather get the car down the track first before sending it off and having it down longer then it already has been. Your advice would be very appreciated.

What about width wise? I have a full set of qa1 double adjustable coil overs that I could possibly raise the rearend up with just for racing purposes. That does suck though...

I'm not sure if a 12'' wide tire will work either. The tire may end up rubbing the inside lip and also the bump stop. Maybe some others will chime in who have ran that setup-I do run a 26X10.5X16 M/T ET Streets with no issues. Even if the shocks raise your car, the 29'' tire will hit the quarter panel somewhere.
Sell those 29'' slicks and locate some slicks that have a diameter of 27'' or 26''.

I'm running a 26x11.50x15 on mine, although the height is different just by looking at them I know a 28" would require some modification do to the width and height, so I'm sure that tall and wide of a slick is going to need a shortened rear with either a mini tub or full tub. You may just sell them and get some 26's 27's. My 26's hook like a **** at 14 psi.

It's gonna be tough. I think you're looking at a mini tub. I run 325 MT DR's on the same wheels you have. Along with the BFH, I cut out my bumpstops and did a little extra trimming. It's still a tight fit. Those 325's are basically a 28x11. It just depends how much you willing to chop.

How much power are you making? This may just be me but sell those massive slicks because I seriously doubt you need them...and there is no way you need to go through that much trouble unless you're going to 4link and tub your car...
