I'm torn!!! I need advice...
Currently I have some zo6 wheeles 18x9 in the front, and 18x11 in the rear.
Tires are 275front and 305 rears.
The problem is, I'm so undecided about what I want to do!! I love my rims and the low profile tires, but I also love the way skinnies and fat meaty tires look too.
I want to hear some of your opinions guy's
whats the pro's and con's to slicks and skinnies, and the pro's and con's of my current setup.
Obviously performance, and cost is a big factor. That's why I'm leaning towards DR and skinnies.

Im a drag race guy, and my last car was a street strip car with drag radials and skinnies. I loved it, but it sucked when my friends would cruise with me and i had to slow down to take a corner going five miles an hour while they were haulin ***. The good thing now is you can get low profile drag radials for your car which still hook pretty good. If you drive it alot on the street like I do mine, youll enjoy this option more. 18's might be too much but you can get your wheels in 17'' and that would work fine.

Fact: You're not going to get much for your existing wheels and tires if you try to sell them.
Fact: You've already upgraded your rearend, so you're less likely to break something by putting on slicks/drag radials.
Question: Is your car your daily driver?
Either way, if it were me, I'd save up and get the slicks and skinnies on a separate set of wheels. If your car is your daily driver, you're not going to want to drive around on that setup all the time (especially if it rains). If not, it doesn't matter as much.
Still, I say get both and run the 18's when you go to meets and run the slicks when you go to race.

Is hooking an issue? Do you street race much? If so, I'd advise something on the lines of a 17" DR on a 10-11" wheel. I went with a chrome zr1 and hoosier drag radial because I didn't want to have to change the tires for the track, don't daily drive the car (only on nice days, but it gets driven pretty often), and I wanted to hook on the street too. To me after bouncing around between several sets of wheels, I finally landed on something I don't want to sell in favor of anything else. These get the job done...and I can always add a greg weld or similar skinny for the track to knock some weight off the front, but I'm gonna build the car to hook on a 17" DR. It can be done - look at mightymouse on here - nearly 8s on 315 MT DRs. If you really want 18s, get a wheel that comes in a 17" in the same style and buy an extra pair for track tires.
