I just got these installed this weekend. I thought I recall someone asking what these look like mounted. 275/40/17"

Thanks. $516.00 for a set, plus shipping. Can't beat these online tire dealers.

They're a nice compromise. I like 'em so far.

If you have to drive in all kinds of weather conditions, they're a great choice. I have them on my M6 car. They're great in the wet, reasonably sticky in the dry, ride very nicely, are good in the cold and tolerable in snow.

Good info RevGTO.

They're a nice compromise tire. I got 'em not so much for wet or snowy driving, but because I store my car outside under a cover, and the sub-zero temps cause summer performance tires to crack and rot. I'm hoping that won't happen with these A/S tires. I had to throw away my last set of performance tires with tons of tread left because they were badly cracked.

The GF SS A/S seems to be more bang-for-the-buck, with the latest technology incorporated, and three different rubber compounds. I've never run the KDWSs, so I can't really say which is better. On paper, the GF SS A/S seems like a winner, and the price is amazing. To me, this seems like one of those rare examples where spending more doesn't really give more, but I could be wrong having never owned both tires.

Opposite here. I've had both. I much prefer the SS A/S. They ride much better, are better in the wet, and are stickier in the dry.

I've got about 6500 miles on my set and have no complaints except they pick up rocks between the treads very easily for some reason.
