Default Wheel adapter question

I want my stock 9.5 wheel to be flush with my quarters. I'm thinking of 1" or 1.25" wheel adapter.
I'm have 275/40 R 17 tires and lowered 1.5 inches.
What do you think? 1 or 1.25?

Try this first; load the rear of the car down until your on the bump-stops. Now it'll be easier to see how much room you have to push your wheels out. IMO, You'll probably need to roll, or cut the inner fender lips for clearance even with the 1" hub spacer.

Another thing to keep in mind is that tire brand will be more of a variable than that 1/4" you're curious about. Not all 275's are created equal (or any size for that matter).

Keep in mind your studs will stick out a 1/4'' with a 1'' adapter and your wheel won't sit flush so you'll need to do some cutting/grinding. If you run a 1.25'' adapter the wheel studs will be flush with the adapter.

However, here's a picture of my car with a 1'' adapter and a 17x9.5'' wheel.
