Default Strength of replica wheels...

Just wondering how strong these replica wheels are. I do alot of road course racing with my trans am and need another set of wheels. Are there any horror stories of replica wheels coming apart under high stress? The WheelHQ has good prices on 17in wheels and I'm looking at their C5 Corvette 5 spoke deals if that matters...

I'm not exactly sure as far as your question but I do know that aftermarket wheels are heavier than OEM wheels so if I were to guess I would say that they would do alright if not be stronger than factory wheels.

I have replica Z06 wheels and they have never given me any issues at all. They came powder coated silver and the finish is very good. I've heard of problems with balancing on some replicas but again, mine never had issues with that either.
My advice is if the company is reputable you shouldn't have any issues with their product. Reputable companies stay in business by selling quality product and standing behind what they sell.

I have had mine on my car for about five years and have had no problems.
