Default Paint torq thrust??

Can you paint torq thrust or do they have to be powder coated? I don't wanna spend that much.

you can paint anything, its just that it won't hold up nearly as well as powder. wheels can take a bit of a beating and when the paint starts chipping you'll be constantly playing touch up.

I"ve had my TTII's painted for over 4 years...u just have to prep it the right way.

* clean the hell outta'em
* tape area u don't want scrathed, sand away
* clean area again and then wipe down with a degreaser
* spray etching primer, then primer
* base coat
* clear coat

My buddy and I prepped them and he painted them for a WHATABURGER meal...

you can paint them but it wont be a s good as powdercoating
