GM’s LS engines are among the most used aftermarket engines used. You can find them in everything ranging from old-school hotrods, trucks, baja-inspired buggy’s, racecars, and even swapped into a Ferrari or two.
The Beast was a part of an interesting era of Monster Trucks. Nothing was too outlandish, if you could use agricultural tires the next guy tried to find something wilder.
This week’s Burnout video features a Buick Roadmaster doing a big, smokey burnout while sitting still and then while rolling down the road. According to the details, this Buick wagon has a 5.7L V8 (presumably an old LT1) with 3.73 gears and while we don’t know what kind of work has been done to this classic family trickster, I would guess that this car isn’t stock.
This week’s Dyno Blast video features a head to head comparison between the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS and the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, both of which are strapped to the same dyno on the same day, with the same gasoline to see which actually makes more power at the wheels.
