1999 Pontiac 30th Anniversary Trans Am (Inverse Edition)

We’re all aware of the white and blue 30th Anniversary cars, but did you know that Pontiac made one special example that’s known as “The Inverse Car?” Yup, the colors are reversed, the paint color is blue and the stripes are white! The F-Body brand team apparently was looking to make something special for the 1999 Detroit Woodward Dream Cruise, so a NBM six speed WS6 ‘vert was pulled from the assembly line, thus creating the foundation for Inverse Car. They added white 30th Anniversary stripes, white painted magnesium corvette C5 rims, BFG G-Force tires, white decals and badges, a white convertible top, 1 of 1 emblems, a custom one-off two-tone interior along with BAER brakes, a Borla exhaust and upgraded suspension pieces.

After its debut at the 1999 Ames Performance Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio, it became a Century 21/Pontiac promotion and sweepstakes give away car. Sadly though, due to a lot of the red tape with giveaway-cars, most of the iconic pieces were stripped and replaced with stock or stock-colored pieces. A shame.
