2012 Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, CA

Yes, we know these are two wheels, not four. But cool is cool, and the bikes on display at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show this weekend in Long Beach, CA are cool. Big, beefy, and fast are adjectives just as applicable to the bike world as LS-land, and the IMS show did not disappoint on that front.
From the newest incarnation of Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout Anniversary edition (same CVO, brand new paint), to vintage Indians complete with vintage dirt, to Zero’s latest e-bike, not to mention the hottest tech and gear for the sportbike scene, the show brought the disparate range of bike enthusiasts together for momentary peace and harmony (much in the same way Dodge and Chevy folks can come together to make fun of Ford). Sure, the latest Ninja lorded it over the big Star, but we can all agree that that Can-Am is neither car, nor bike but something terrifying in between.
The show is touring all over the U.S., next up in Seattle, WA this Dec. 13-14. Check it out and see how the other half (quarter, eighth, whatever…) lives.
