This Blown, Big Block V8, Pontiac Fiero Will Blow Your Mind

If you have ever wondered what is the fastest and most dramatic way to kill yourself, I found an answer for you. One wonderful eccentric has decided that he wanted to build up his 1984 Pontiac Fiero, so he crammed a 455 Oldsmobile V8 in the back and slapped a gigantic supercharger on top. He added an intercooler and fuel injection as well. And it’s street legal.

The car was found at the Rod Run in 2012, and it’s a truly custom creation to the highest degree. A new nose, new hood, modified headlights and obnoxiously bright orange paint work well enough to set this car apart from the rest of the Fieros of the world, but seeing that massive intake for the blower poking up above the roof-line just takes things to a whole new level.

I mentioned the car is street legal, and the owner has done what he can to keep the car as comfortable as possible. A new Plexiglas firewall lets you see the engine right behind you, but otherwise the interior is stock, right down to the original seats. He even plans on putting air conditioning back into the car.

Stick around until the end to hear it running. You don’t want to miss that.
