Kawasaki Splits Corvette/McLaren Street Race

Get those eyes ready, folks. Don’t blink, because if you do, you’ll miss this Kawasaki street bike cutting a path between a McLaren and a Corvette in a street race.

At first, it looks like the Kawi is blowing past the cars, but look again, and you’ll see it’s the other way around.

The video, posted on YouTube by Daily Driven Exotics, says the bike was going 190 mph when it passed the cars, but that is completely false. The cars passed the bike.

Slow the video down, and you’ll see the motorcycle first appears outside the Corvette’s window and then in the outside rearview mirror.

Regardless of who beat whom, cars or motorcycle, we certainly don’t condone shattering speed limits on public highways. These sort of runs are better held on a track for everyone’s safety.

Still, this video clip is bound to stir up a lot of buzz with a, “now you see me, now you don’t,” kind of appeal.
