RIDE ON! A Fast 2002 Camaro SS and a 2013 Mustang GT

LS1 RO 1

Getting into the 10 Second Club is not an easy feat. In reality, no car (or, rather, no production car that a regular human being could afford) blows through the quarter mile in ten seconds or less.

It takes a lot to get to that point — and by a lot we mean a lot of time, money, and effort. It is simply not something you do over the weekend because you got the urge. But with a large enough investment and enough weekends on your hands, it’s amazing what can be made.

Today we’ll step into redline2k‘s garage and take a look at the two machines that lie within!

One of redline2k’s cars is a 2002 Camaro SS, whereas the other is a 2013 Mustang GT. So today we’ll start by taking a look at the modern pony car, simply so we can save the best for last. Just like its counterpart with which it shares the garage, this Mustang does more than just city cruising.

It is also used on the track, and with that it isn’t surprising that it has been modified to be better than it ever was. So far the ride has Stainless Works long tube headers, an off-road X-pipe, a Magnaflow axle-back exhaust, a JLT cold air intake, and more. This ride is definitely fast, though we wouldn’t say its LS fast!

Now the true worthy candidate for appreciation within redline2k’s garage is his 2002 Camaro SS. This ride is the one that has gotten him into the 10 Second Club, and we love it.

As it sits now, this ride has a 408 N20, a Turbo 400, a Moser 12 bolt rear end, a roll cage and race seats, and much, much more. This car is basically a race car, and it has earned that title. Not everyone can be the proud owner of a ten second car, after all!

LS1 RO 4

This ride is truly amazing, and you know it’s a piece of genuine American muscle when it’s in danger of getting airborne at the drags! Go drop by redline2k’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date, with both pictures and modifications, and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
