Sin City: A Corvette to Die For

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For opens this month with Josh Brolin playing Dwight McCarthy. Dwight is a killer who also happens to drive a few killer rides and meets a dame to…well, y’know.

Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, and Bruce Willis return for this sequel along with newcomers Eva Green and Lady Gaga. Aside from Alba, the most interesting stars in the film are the ones with wheels.

Sin City is a town full of beautiful dames, ugly mugs and incredible rides that eventually get shot up, crushed, bloodied and destroyed by the bad guys.

The 1959 Corvette above is driven by actor Joseph Gordon Levitt in the moody movie. Lucky man. The C1 recently made an appearance at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego. Can you say total geek-fest?

Rosario Dawson is back, playing a hooker with a heart of gold or is it a dagger? Dawson co-stars with a sexy red 1959 Cadillac Eldorado this time around.

Frank Miller and Robert Rodriquez co-direct this sequel to the bloody, film noir 2005 hit Sin City which is based on Miller’s inky comic books. There are lots of classic cars in that film too.

Josh Brolin (Dwight) looks really bummed that his 1965 Ford Mustang broke down on him – again. Next time steal a Camaro dude.

Other vintage vehicles in the film include plenty of big, old Buicks, lots of Chevys, a pair of Harley-Davidsons and even a Torpedo Tucker. The Torpedo should come in handy. Real handy.
