The fifth-generation Z28 brought out the big guns with a 7.0 L LS7 V8 engine. Rated at 505 hp, it was the same engine as the C6 Z06 Corvette. Upgrades in design and engineering were done with the track in mind. But like any Camaro, it was just as capable and kickass on the road. And it not only had the speed, it handled like a dream.
