“The Trashcan” Twin-Turbo LS Swapped Nova Makes 807 WHP & Runs 9s

Here’s the classic case of not judging a book by its cover. If you think this 1972 Nova is as slow as it is ugly, you’re in for a real hurtin’. Lurking beneath the rust and the booger-green paint is a stock 5.3 with a custom cam that sips on E85 and is force-fed big boost from a pair of Precision 58mm turbos. Power is directed through a TH400 transmission and then into some flat-black Weld Draglites wrapped in sticky race-rubber.

As you’ll see in the video, when the symphony of low-buck power is put to the test, it results in an impressive 9.92 @ 139 mph at the strip.When strapped to a dyno, it throws down a traction-killing 807 hp to the tires!
