VR Corvette 427 Convertible Makes 689 WHP With Boost

There’s something about the 427 C6 Vettes that sets them apart from all other C6s. A big motor and a drop top? Now that’s awesome. But what do you do if your son has a supercharged Mustang that happens to smoke you at a half-mile drag race event? Simple, you add some mods!
In this case the owner contacted Vengeance Racing for a cam, longtubes and an A&A Vortech blower kit. The result? Another 218 HP and 180 LB-FT at the tires on just 6.5 PSI and 93-octane pump gas. Needless to say, there was one smoked Mustang!
