spohn motor mounts

spohn solid motor mounts ok guys heres the deal. im stock displacement for now but not very long. im going to go with the spohn solid tubular motor mounts. Do i need to buy 2 sets seems how there r 4 motor mounts or am i just replacing the 2. the motor with the cam i have n now just rocks back and forth n the bay about 1 to 1.5 n the bay at idle. so i cant imagine what its doing at track. Any help is seriosly appreciated.

sry man. i know very little bout the mounts on these cars or any for all that goes. i just know how to drop the K member and go from there. have never had to change a set of mounts out.
Hey, don't be sorry dude, everyone's gotta start somewhere, ya know! But as for changing the mounts, no need to drop the kmember. Basically you gotta move some of the accessories out of the way, like the a/c and alternator to be able to get at the bolts on the mounts a little easier, and I think dropping the starter helps too if I remember correctly. Then take all the bolts out of the old mounts, put a piece of wood on ur jack and jack the motor up from the oil pan, get the old mounts out, throw the new ones in and lower the engine enough to try and thread all the bolts before you fully set the motor down, that'll line it up, once they are all threaded let her down, and tighten everything down, put put all the accessories you took off back in place and ur done! Took me a long time the first time I did, but I could do it again in a couple hours probably if I needed to. Oh yeah and the new solid mounts ur putting in make it easier to get at those bolts in the future, but I don't see u needing to change those suckers out, they're stout bitches!!!
