Two motors that lasted three passes each, but I am in with 10.79 at 125.1

 

that is good time. what are your mods?

why each motor would only last 3 passes? are you using stock motor with big shot of nitrous?

 

Forged 346, patriot heads, unknown cam, FAST intake, BBK TB, 5.13 gears, manual trans, slipper clutch, etc.
On the first one, the piston clearance was way too small. The Mahle pistons rubbed off enough of their coating to polute the oil and wipe out the rods and crank.

The second one, I think the crank broke. No idea why. No nitrous - just N/A.

I'm beginning to thing this just is not my year.
