With a Procharger D1SC running 10 PSI and on stock bottom end, I did this run a few years ago:


Knowing the stock bottom end wouldn't last, I boosted a bored and stroked 422. On 7 to 8 PSI and a slipping belt it ran 10.84 @ 124 MPH.
I've upped the boost to 12~13 PSI and now I can't hook it on ET Streets and the tranny doesn't seem to understand the torque. I must figure all that out or I may drop it to 10 PSI and have fun. I could probably do that and drive it on 93 octane anyway. I had to drop the timing 4 or 5 degrees to avoid detonation at this boost level unless I wanted to run 100 Octane all the time.
