I decided to join the group Decided to take the car to Thunder Valley and see how it does.
The condition wasn't the best there, in terms of weather. DA was 2200 during my runs, which is about a 1000 high from their normal around this time of year. I wasnt pleased about that at all.
I was having a hard time getting it to launch. It needs some gear really bad. Im still on the stock 10 bolt and stock 3.42's. I think the best 60 foot I got was a 1.8x on motor, bogging really heavy. I was dumping around 5500 and it was bogging to under 3k on motor. But needless to say, it went 11.7 @ 121 on motor.
I sprayed a very conservative 100 shot on it also, I had it pilled for 52, 31 on a NX kit. Also ran the R5671A-7 plug, which is a way to cold for the 100 shot, but like I said, I wanted to be very conservative. It ended up going 10.91 @ 130.2 on a 100 shot. I was asked to leave the dragstrip after that for safety reasons.
