Congrats! Hitting that first 11 second slip is an awesome feeling. What cam and intake are you running?

Cam is a comp cam 234 236 with .598 and .545 at a 112 lsa. Intake is a Fast 90/90 set up.
DA looks to be about 2400.

Thanks guys, Pretty much my best pass.

Nice! Just need a better 60' and you'll get mid 11's all day long. What tires were you running? I got 1.5x 60's with mickey thompson street radials on my stock rims and no suspension mods.

Thanks. Ya I was hoping for a better 60' but that was the best I could do, I might send my converter in and have it restalled a bit higher. I was using mickey tompson drag radials on stock rims, but with some suspension mods like lca's and panhard bar.

I was thinking of doing the restall, getting some 15x10 wheels with some 26" MT ET streets, and also get efi live so I can tune it myselft at the track. Probably get some pretty good numbers then.

Did you feel any spin or were you dead hooking? I was hitting 1.6x 60's with a TCI 3500 converter so I cant believe your setup wouldn't at least be in the low 1.6's with full traction. I would run 20 psi in my MT's and do a 5 second burnout to get the best results.

I didnt feel any wheel spin on this pass. I was expecting a lower 60' but even after getting my launch and everything feeling the best, this was the best I could do. I warmed the MT's up really well, probably 5-7 seconds (to warm them up and for a little show as well, they liked that). I ran them at 15 psi.

Would gears make a difference in 60'? Im running 3.89's.

15psi is a little low. Might want to bring that up to 18-20. You're gears are perfect for your setup IMO. Im thinking your problem is in the converter. I would get it refreshed into a ss4000

Ill try that next time I get out there, which will probably be next spring sadly. I think its the converter as well. Ill probably get it restalled and have some good comparison numbers.

I hear you. I would definately up the stall to at least 4000 with your setup. With your cam and gears the bigger stall will not only get you out of the hole quicker but will keep you in your powerband better with the higher shift extension. I wouldn't be surprised if you picked up a mph in trap speed as well as lowing your 60'.

Good luck!

Ya footbraking it. I was shocked when I saw it. I also had a .005 the pass before that so I guess I was doing something right, cant say I was doing it right when I had the .453 light though. lol

Going by ur 1/8 mile it looks like your cam has you loosing some low end with that converter. I bet you would gain about .5 with a 4k stall. Good time either way though!

I think your estimation is extremely optimistic. He already has a 3600 converter according to his signature. 7.50s at 91 is just about right actually. He might pick up a tenth or so.
