First trip to Memphis on build. 3k miles on new build on an ls1.. 2000 camaro, Stock suspension besides relocation brackets.
Ls6 intake, ported throttle body
Stock 243 heads
228-230/588-592 114+2 cam.
Stock bottom end
3600 edge converter
3.73 gears
Weighed I'm at 3464 with me in the car full weight.
1.69 60ft.
7.59 1/8th
11.88 at 114 1/4
This was leaving with stalling it up to 1200-1500 and leaving. Went to a local track that is 1/8th mile and tried leaving from an idle. Car went 1.61 60ft. 7.41. So I don't know what that would convert to now. Maybe 11.60s?

What was your mph in the 1/8? Your old 1/4 mph looks a little low for those times.
I was trapping almost 112 with minor bolt-ons stock tune, what was the DA for these runs?
Either way, congrats on your build, sounds like it runs good. You should be knocking on roll bar territory.

Hey guys I'm looking for some education. I want to build a full time bracket racer out of my 2000 ls1 fire chicken. I am just getting peoples opinions on cost and reliability. I am only looking to go mid 11's at best, its a high altitude track but I wanna launch hard and wheelstand. the 6 speed tran is going, not sure what other people have done with rear end and susp. also looking at carb instead of EFI cuz im not as familiar with EFI but I can go either way. Just looking at what you guys have done, what was the cost, how much work was it ect. Thanks for all the help. the car will be caged but im trying to make it look as stock as possible, full interior, would rather not back half it
