If you can drive and can get traction you should hit that number.

at that weight with the setup you are running you should be beyond your goal even if the driver weighed 500lbs if the tune is dialed in well

I would think so. Hook it up well and you should have it.

shift light comes on at 5700, rev at 6300. what should it be? timing at 32 degrees comes in a 2800 rpm. sound about right? I have a well knowledgeable guy going with me.

Do you have a dyno sheet? You will want to shift a few hundred RPM past where it makes peak HP. It's a balance of keeping it at the highest average HP. Ideally you wouldn't want to shift until power has fallen off to a lower point than where it will end up in the power band once the shift occurs.

Mine peaks at ~6300rpm but likes to be shifted around 6700rpm...might like more but that's as high as I want to spin it.

I haven't got to dyno it yet. but id figured ill turn it a little harder than I do on the street. might mix some c16 gas in it so I can run more timing, will that help?

I think you have your goal covered no problem. However, you are going to want to shift that thing higher. I am guessing 6400 RPM with a your rev limiter at 6800.

I figured with that short of a tire on the back and my 3.73 gear it will be like having a 4.10 gear and probably will go through the lights around 6400?

Depends on what speed you go through at. According to the calculator with 7% converter slip 114 MPH is about 5900 RPM

best run I got last night was a 8.06 (1/8 mile track). converting it to 1/4 mile time its a 12.65. truck was really rich all night. it needs a smaller carb and a 4.10 gear. i went through the lights last night in 2nd gear and only at about 6500 rpm lol.

We already have it jetted down a lot. We have a 750hp I can try for free. I think it will be faster.

It may be, but I just want to share that the size does not dictate the a/f ratio.
