Default 1st 11 second pass in the G8!!!

Went to LSFest this past week right after getting the car back together and had some good runs!! I was hoping to hit low 12’s and 11’s on spray first time out and she did!! Went 12.2@113 on motor with a 1.79 60ft on my only motor pass, and clicked off an 11.50@118 on Saturday morning with a 1.545 60ft on 100 shot. I’m not a protuner by no means and I think I can squeeze a little more out of her with some more passes. Its the stock 6.0 long block with 186k, stock intake, spectre CAI, stainless 1 3/4 headers with no cats, stock exhaust piping with an x-pipe and single chambers. Stock suspension and rear diff, BTR Stage 2 cam, .660 valve springs, udp, PTC 3200 stall.

Dropped almost seven tenths with a 100 shot? My baby screams but its really crying for a bottle!

Yup!! Went 7.9 in the 1/8 on the motor pass and 7.3 on the bottle. I mean I don’t know how you could consider it being careful but I tried to be careful since we drove it 9hours up there 😂

Hell ya!!! Thanks buddy, I literally had the car together for 4 days after doing the cam and converter before we made the trip. And put the kit on the night before. Couldnt test it till we got there, had to stop and get the bottle filled in Tennessee on the way up. I want this thing to hit a 10.90 pass and I’ll be a happy camper.

I love seeing the higher miles hold up to the No2. People that do not know always hate and doubt how much ls cars love it!!

Oh for sure, I always get the “you’re gonna blow it up with nitrous” crap 🙄 I’ve been running nitrous for 15 years on different stuff. If you know what you’re doing then you won’t. Reason why I’m not going up on the jet anymore until I either go stand alone fuel system or at least go up on my pump. My AFR on the 100 shot was still safe but a little higher than I want. Plugs still look great though. I wasn’t scared of the mileage on this thing because of how well maintained the car looked when I bought it (100% bone stock still), and when I tore it down for the cam etc, it was immaculate inside! Valve covers weren’t even black.
