Project Camaro 1st pass
This is a 95 Camaro that I bought off of a member here as a new project car. Ajwz28 was his user name here. This car was a rolling chassis....here is his description of it.
"1995 z28" black with ulta z hood with silver strips
car is complete all you need is trans and motor-102,000 miles
fully loaded all power with ttops
full full energy suspension rebuild on all front end parts
bmr control arms and hot. panhard rod adjustable
stock rear with 3.73 slp gears
stock wheels with bfg drag radiols on back and bfg g forces on front.
1000hp aeromotive fuel system with the big fuel pump out tank and filter
body is in good shape.
Well anyway, I transplanted an LS1. Along with motor came the 4L60E. Various parts were needed, all of which were either scavanged off of a T/A or bought. A lot of sweat went into this car, scratching of the head, and even some swearing. But no blood. Help from my friends, Terry, Heath, etc. The tuning came from Sammy affiliated with JJ's Automotive. The only thing that I have left is to wire for the oil pressure and coolant temp gauge. I have been using the Autotap for the intrumentation purpose.
Nothing really changed from the last setup, still headers, lid, converter, and nitrous.
But here is a pass from Fri.
R/T .344
60' 1.648
330 4.710
1/8 7.321
MPH 94.27
1000 9.567
1/4 11.458
MPH 119.31
And here is a link to the vid.
