Default Progress......

Well with the air at the track being upwards of 95*, I think I did pretty good......ALMOST AN 11.6!!!!! If these had been some night runs where it would be in the 80's I think this would have been better to compair to my first 4 on the cam a few weeks back. Anyway, I ran 11.712@115.25 1.593 60ft. I got my first 1.59 and I loved it. Well this was actually my 2nd 1.59 on the day and this one felt a bit sloppy......anyway, I am happy. I wont be running for a while until the weather gets better.

If your car is a 6-speed with a stick rear end and no sticky tire besides a Nitto or something, then no. You ran good as hell for that! Get a rear and some slicks and watch the 11 second slips come to your hands!

What stall are running/gearing? You dynoed what 500hp?? And your 60ft is killing you! So Mickey thompson drags will help that out! More details!

Well you have a built tranny, and a stock torque converter......OK, now get rid of the torque converter for something upwards of 3500rpm stall speed from Yank or Vigilate. Get some ET streets on some 16 inch wheels or even better some 15 inch welds. Get LCA and relocation brackets, and then see what she does. If you feel a bit iffy on the rear then get a 9" or 12 bolt and some serious tire out back. Your car making that kind of power could potentialy be in the 10s if you got it all working the way it should, but low 11s should be able to come with the things I listed fairly easy.

I have 1.69-1.59s on this rear with this converter, you shouldn't really see too big of a problem wiht the rear, mostly the tranny and that is built on your car.......

Your dyno #'s will suffer but your track times will be much better with a good converter!

VERY TRUE!

I ran consistant 12.2-12.3s all day long with 312rwhp and only ran 12.7-12.8 with 332rwhp! That shows the true advantage of a converter!

Well that is a decent converter, just get some ET Streets or ET Drags. You need traction......

Same stall I have, tires are a must. You have more ponies than I do currently and I ran a tad faster. Tires help 60ft, 60ft makes the run!

After the converter, you are looking at anywhere between 440-460rwhp. In a 3500lb car, that is enough for 10s.....you should get some great times it you get some tires....
