Default Should I be in?

Well right now I can't get my car figured out on nitrous it just doesn't like to hook no matter what I do. My previous best pass n/a was 7.9 @ 91.8 mph w a 1.83 60 ft on Nitto drag radials. So I decided to take it to the track and had M/T Et Street Radials on it. On the street these tires are mean for my car 4.5k launches w/nitrous. Right now I'm sprayin a 175 shot through a NX Dual Nozzle Kit. I took it to the track and decided to take it out but think I need some ET Drags to make it hook right at the track. I was tryin to launch at 2.5k or so and ease it out of the hole then nail it. But it was spinning extremely hard and only 60 ftin 2.3s or so. Best pass all night on spray was a whoopin 7.8 @ 101 mph w/2.2 60 ft. Something just doesn't seem to add up... the mph seems nice but it just won't hook. Does this mph seem right for how much nitrous on the car? I don't know what to do... I guess just get some 15" Welds with ET Drags would solve my problem?

Geez, with that kind of trap speed in the 1/8, your car would be way down in the 11's with a good launch. My best 1/4 time is 11.964@116.49 w/ a 1.761 60'. I was only going 92.43mph at the 1/8 mark. I'm guessing you'd be trapping way the other side of 120 in the 1/4, which should be good for a far better time than what I got... if you can launch it.

That's what I was figuring... I was happy with the trap speed just can't get it to stay straight! My best 1/8th trap n/a was like an 8.0 @ 92.8 and then 1/4th I was on street tires trappin like 115-116 running 12.5-12.6s with bad 60 fts. I'm hoping to see the lower side of the 11's with decent traction just don't get much time to go out to the 1/4th. AAA won't tow my car for free if I break it down there

^hahahah that's beautiful... in all honesty thought- do they really not tow from the track?

Oh, I actually meant it was too far from the closest 1/4th mile and AAA only tows up to 100 miles for free and it's over 100 miles. I'm sure they would tow my car if I break it at the track though, at least I'd hope!

I actually have an NX Maximizer the 1st one but haven't got to putting it on the car. I was going to use it later on when I went for the big shot but looks like I may have to put it on soon for the small shot.

What suspension upgrades do you have? Get a progressive controller as earlier mentioned.
