bottom end will a stock bottom end hold up in an 11 sec car. This is not dd just weekend and track. thought i would ask before i started to rip things apart to upgrade no point in doing things twice.
get rid of yout stock 10 bolt. some people have ran them into the 10's and they hold up and other running high 12's they go out. your best bet is to do the rear end right away and get it done with. a lot of people forget about their trans so dont forget about that too b/c that will take a crap sooner or later.

The T-56 is much more stout than the Auto trans...
But a T-56 can go out if you drive like I di ( Powershifting day and night)

I've had no problems with my stock short block, but would recommend a nice timing set and upgraded oil pump.
The sad thing is you will want to go faster and will eventually upgrade when you get beat by buddies!!! This sport is worse than a drug!!
