11s - need title change
11s - need title change Headed out to Speedworld today (1/14/2007) as we finally had some decent conditions. Last time out, my best was a 12.1 @ 117.3 with a 1.96 60'. Needless to say, traction was an issue.
I added LCA relocation brackets and ran a new best today of 11.754 @ 118.818. Here's a breakdown of the run:

I backed this up with about six 11.8xx passes. Not bad considering the car still has 3.23s in the back and hasn't been on the dyno yet. A few more tweaks and the car should have no problem getting me kicked off the track.
For those who aren't familiar with my car, it's a 396 LT1 with an LE2/4 setup, street twin, etc. bla bla.
Here's the video of the 11.7 run. The video was shot on a still camera, so the sound quality kind of sucks and there is no zooming:
