11's for my project?

Ok,

I hate at add to the ridiculous amoutn of, "will I run..." threads...but here it goes.

Car is a 98 hardtop (former V6 car), Power windows, door locks, and driver seat are the only option. No rear defroster, etc

Its goin to have 03 Z06 Heads, Pred-Z's 230/230 cam, LT's, lid,Ls6 intake, dumper y-pipe, SD tune from DOC, Edlebrock TQ arm,and a 4k stall w/ a built trans, 3.08 gears. (More suspension pieces to come)

With a 16in MT drag radial..do mid 11's sound doable? Hell are 12's possible w/ a street tire?

I know its all about 60' times. But is it possible w/ the stock LCA's and such? Or should I probably do adjustable,s and a PHB?

Also..is there a slight chance w/ a good 60' time and a 150 of the sauce I can brush 10's?

IIRC, another guy w/ this same cam ran 11.2's??

Not enough power for mid 11's?

Or need more suspension?

No,

Gears arn't really needed when you have a 4K stall.

I'll gain what .1-.3 maybe? (just goin by other peoples results)

I run 12.2@112 with 224 comp cam .581/.581 and 3000 stall... 275/60R15 M/T DR... only a 3.36 rear gear... th350

no headers... 2.5 true duals... no x or h pipe 3175lbs w/o driver

I plan on headers... heads... and running 11.6s 11.5s

spray to mid low tens...

BTW...it is a Carbed Ls1

Sorry, i don't think some of these guys know what they are talking about. A good, high stall basically eliminates the need for gears. They aren't needed as much. I know this from experience.

That predator "el torro" cam is pretty impressive i hear. I know this thread is a little old, but I have no problem seeing your running mid 11s depending on your tire and 60 ft.

Let me know what you ran...
