Finally!!!!!
) slipping the clutch out fast. I tried to dump it at around 5500 and ended up pointing at the tree. Here is the list of mods. Stock bottom end on a 98 TA, T-Rex cam, stock heads unworked, ls6 intake, ported t/b, QTP headers, spec stage 3 clutch, built 6 speed, welded in SFC's, BMR torque arm and LCA's, Moser 9" with 4.56 gears, and some M/T E T streets 26/10.5 on some prostars.
I'm sure I have forgotten something but I am still shaking from all the fun. I tell you, its the coolest feeling lifting the front end up and rolling out like that.
I had it at 2500 when I was staged and once the second yellow came on I floored it and when the third one came on I slipped the clutch out really quick like.

I went to the track tonight and made 5 passes. Not a ONE of those had a 12 on it!
I came right out the gate smoking with a 11.86 backed up with another 11.86, then as it cooled off it went 11.83, then 11.73 and finally I gave it hell at the line and managed a 11.67 @ 118.55
Not trying to toot my own horn here but DAMN!!!! That thing moves for some stock 98 perimeter bolt heads, a cam, and some bolt ons.
I'm just happy as hell with this car but it all came at a price. For some reason the clutch isn't holding during normal driving now
It will stick when I do a quarter mile pass but other than that it is slipping its *** off. My question is this, how long does a spec stage 3 usually last when street driven with some occasional track visits?
